Clearing Cache on Common Browsers

Microsoft Edge:

  1. Open the menu (. . .) of the browser and select Settings.
  2. Scroll down to Clear browsing data, click “Choose what to clear”.
  3. Check the boxes for Browsing history / Cookies and saved website data / Cached data files.
  4. Click Clear.
  5. Wait for Edge to clear data (this may take a few minutes).
  6. Close and restart Edge.


  1. Short Cut: Press Alt + S at the same time on your computer keyboard to access the browser’s menu.
    • ​​Or, go to the Menu bar (3 lines upper right edge) > Options > Privacy & Security > History > Click Clear History.
  2. Select Clear All History.
  3. In the dialog box, set Time range to clear to Everything.
  4. Check the boxes for Browsing & Download History, Cookies and Cache, and click Clear Now.
  5. Close and restart Firefox.


  1. Open the menu on the browser toolbar (3 dots upper right edge of browser).
  2. Select History.
  3. Select Clear Browsing Data and choose Basic.
  4. In the dialog box that appears, set Time Range to All Time. Check Browsing History, Cookies and Other Site Data, Cached Images and Files. 
  5. Click Clear Data.
  6. Close and restart Chrome.


  1. Go to the Menu bar across the top and click on History > Select Clear History.
  2. In the dialog box, click Clear.
  3. Close and restart Safari.
